1. We have a clean (snow-free) driveway.
2. We made it out of the neighborhood -- to the grocery store, Walmart, and Kohls -- it was nice to get out of the house for a while.
3. The highlight of my day on Sunday was taking a shower and putting on non-snow shoveling jeans.
4. Today, we learned that another storm is headed our way and will dump anywhere from 5 to 16 inches of snow.
5. Work is closed again tomorrow (is it sad that I actually want to go into work so that I can get out of the house?)

I like the precedent you are setting by putting your Mom to work. I think Ellen could do some heavy lifting around here when she next visits.
ReplyDeleteThat's a ton of snow. I have a number of friends up your way and they have all posted similar pictures. I might take until July to melt all of that, plus whatever you get today.
Okay - I've been looking at the pictures from the snowstorm for a month. It's time for an update - especially about Derek and Kirk.
