Well the Snowstorm of 2010 has officially begun. It started snowing here on Friday at 10am, but it didn't start sticking until about 5pm. My mom was in Baltimore for a conference but she missed her flight due to the weather, so she took the train to hang out here with us for the weekend. As of this morning, I think we are at about 15 inches. Derek shoveled the driveway last night, and then we were all out again this morning, and it is now completely covered again. It is supposed to snow all day today and even into tonight, so it looks like we could get at least 20 inches. Here are some pics...

And...just for fun...Reggie smiling (he loves the snow)
Gee, thanks for the 'lovely' picture of me. This is the biggest snowfall I've ever experienced - it is quite pretty.

Well, my previous comment went awol. It was something about wow, that's a lot of snow. And, I think it snowed really big when I was a baby and lived outside DC.
ReplyDeleteFor a second there, I thought maybe your mom was blogging, too. I would totally read her blog if she had one. I think it's cute, though, that she read and posted a comment on your post about the snow and her being there.
Is it weird that I totally miss you guys (a lot), even though we haven't seen each other on a regular basis in over 10 years? I think becoming a mom has made me nostalgic or something (uh, hormonal). Okay, stopping now.
Y'all stay cozy!
That is amazing the amount of snow!!! Stay warm and safe. Awesome pictures.
ReplyDeleteBrooke -- I feel the exact same way and couldn't have said it better myself. So either that makes us both weird or normal (not sure which one). I read your blog all the time and love all the updates on Sadie (and the old school Way Back Wednesday photos -- especially some of the ones sporting the Holy Souls uniform).
