After getting through the RSV incident, Lydia remained under the weather for a while (truthfully until March), but we had a few days here and there where she seemed back to herself. At four months, she tried a little solids. She has always seemed to be a very hungry baby (even more so than Eleanor, which I didn't think was possible). She loved the rice oatmeal and fruits and sweet potatoes. We continued to battle some nighttime waking issues (which I will also blame on the RSV...seriously, that virus sucks), but otherwise, she seemed pretty content to be on her playmat, bumbo, or riding around in her carseat.
We had Lydia's baptism on Jan. 18. She was a trooper and didn't even make a peep when the water was put on her head. She celebrated afterward by sleeping for about 2 hours in her carseat while we got to hang out with family (getting baptized is obviously exhausting).
Lydia also started daycare at the end of January since I was starting back at work in early February. That is also always a transition...for her....for us....for them.
Eleanor still loves to love on her and "help" out in any way she can. I know that will change soon, but it is pretty sweet right now.
Eleanor is also doing great...loves her school and all of her friends. She is writing all of her letters now, although she has a few that she forgets from time to time. She really likes "reading" books to Lydia and is still obsessed with every stuffed animal you can imagine (and somehow still manages to know if one is missing). She started back at swim lessons at the Y again, and is doing really well. She is now officially swimming by herself for about 6 feet and really seems to like it.
