Blogosbeer Update

Here is a little pictorial of what the Blackford side of the family have been up to so far this Christmas season...

Purchasing ~$80 of beer for the self proclaimed beer snob himself (aka Tom).

A full cooler of beer...waiting for his arrival

Too bad for him the supply is diminishing very quickly...

  1. How can a person love and hate someone so much at the same time?
Stop drinking my beer, I can't wait to get there and drink some tomorrow.
    That means you dad.

  2. What do you people, allegedly from my family, have against good ole cheap American beer?

  3. What do you have against trying out better American beer, Mr. Bah Humbug?

  4. I did upgrade to Budweiser's American Ale this year once and won a bet and got some Sam Adams. It was good, but the price tag, e-gads!

  5. Beer is for people who like to pee a lot. Drink whiskey you girly men. Derek is my new hero. We drank good American beer and bourbon, ate bbq and killed things, lots of things, watched sports yesterday and today and agreed Tom is a beer mooch on Mom & Dad.

  6. While I'm happy you killed things and I won't argue the 'beer mooch' point, I'd like to see you go head to head with me on the American beers I drink.
For some reason you all keep thinking I don't drink beers made in America. You're very wrong.
    Beers I drink are:
Old Rasputin - North Coast Brewery, California
Black Chocolate Stout - Brooklyl Brewery, NY
Old Yeti Imperial Stout - Great Divide Brewery, Denver, CO
Dogfishhead (only strong varieties) - Dogfish head brewery, Delaware
    Let's try them sometime.
Word of caution, though. They're a little tough for anyone over 35 to stomach.
